Here at Stepping Stones & Mountain Tones Ministry, we are dedicated to providing a nurturing environment for Christian men and women to grow in their faith and character. Our belief in the teachings of Jesus Christ and the truths found in God's Word is at the heart of everything we do.
As a Non-Denominational Outreach Ministry, we offer a range of programs and events to support and encourage True Christ Followers on their journey of faith. Through mutual encouragement, accountability, and support, we aim to help individuals embody the character of Christ in their everyday lives.
If you are a Veteran, active Duty Service Member [Military--Law Enforcement--Fire Fighter-Rescue] and you're looking for a community of like-minded individuals who are passionate about living out their faith, we invite you to explore the opportunities available through Mountain-Tones @ Hawks-Haven. Joining with us will help to expand a Non-Profit Impact to reach other veterans who may need to connect with a Community or Tribe of like minded Adventure Seekers, as we grow and share our love for Mountain Wilderness Adventures. Growing our Member numbers will allow us to reach for larger support in the form of Grants and Foundation Donations. You'll be help build a Foundation of a New Grass-Roots Veterans Outreach Organization that focuses on we know works to others find Balance in their life by Immersing in The Great Outdoors.

I am the Founder and Director of Stepping Stones & Mountain Tones Ministries here in Colorado. The Greatest Pleasure I have in this life is Sharing my Faith in God and Jesus Christ with others. The other great pleasure that I am Blessed to enjoy, is to live in and explore the Colorado Rocky Mountains.

At Stepping Stones & Mountain Tones we believe that we are a bunch of 'Imperfect People', pursuing a Perfect, Loving God. We exist to make Heaven more crowded one person, one group at a time, by helping people know God, live on purpose and go change the world, and challenging them to step out of their 'Comfort Zone' and dive into the Adventure of a Lifetime. Through our Devotionals and Wilderness -Fellowship Gatherings, we teach with real authenticity, humility, and sincerity. We want you to know that you are loved, valued, and accepted, and you are welcome here just as you are.
What We Believe:
The Bible, God's Word to us, is central to our relationship with God and each other as brothers and sisters in Christ. While there are some areas where sincere Christians agree (Romans 14:1--15:7; 2 Timothy 2:23-24;
& Titus 3:9); that the Bible makes clear that certain truths are essential convictions of the Christian Faith. Stepping Stones & Mountain Tones considers these to be the following:
God--[The Father]
God is the loving Creator of all living things that exists, both seen and unseen. God is eternal and completely good, knowing all things, having all power and majesty. God exists as the Trinity, in three distinct persons, yet One God:
{The father, Son and Holy Spirit}. God passionately desires a relationship with us and towards this end continually invites us into a relationship of faith, friendship, learning, and service. (Genesis 1:1; John 14:6-9; 15-17; 16:7-15; Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14; 1 John 4:9-10)
Jesus Christ--[The Son]
God expressed Himself in human form through Jesus Christ , the Son of God.
Jesus Christ is fully man and fully God. He is the perfect reflection of God's character and glory. Born of the Virgin Mary, He lived a sinless life and offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all people by dying on the cross. All who believe in Him are declared righteous on the basis of His death. He rose physically from the dead, ascended to heaven and will return to earth to reign forever with those who are His. (Colossians 1:13-23; 2:8-14; 1 Corinthians 15:3-8; Matthew 22:36-40; 1:18-25; John 1:1; 8:40, 50; 11:33; 14:1-3; Hebrews 1:1-8; Acts 1:9-11; 10:42-43; 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17; Romans 5:8-10]
The Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit, sent from God to live inside all who believe in Jesus Christ, teaches , comforts, and empowers us, giving, giving each follower diverse gifts, fostering unity. Interdependence, productivity, Christ-like character, and love among Christians. The believer receives the Holy Spirit at the moment of salvation. The empowering of the Holy Spirit, the promise of the father, is available for every Christian. (Acts 1:8; 2:4; Romans 5:5, 8; 1 Corinthians 12-14; Galatians 5:16-25; Ephesians 3:16; 4:3-4; 5:18; John 14:26; 16:7-14)
The Bible
We believe that God speaks to us in the Bible, which is completely without error. It is our privilege to seek to understand God's message and apply it responsibly to our lives. The Bible is our standard and authority in all that we say and do. We believe that God inspired the authors of the Bible and they are therefore completely trustworthy. The Bible is the final authority on all matters to which it speaks. We believe that God's unchangeable Biblical message ought to be presented in relevant and contemporary ways, free of religious jargon so it can be understandable to the people of our community. Our Mission Statement
To Unite Veteran Men and Women to become Godly Disciples of Jesus Christ, Encouraging them to make Promises that last a Lifetime--to Jesus Christ, their families, and to one another.
To Encourage them through Devotionals, Prayer, Group Gatherings, Fitness, and Challenging them to Stand Beside One Another as True -- Strong -- Loyal * Honest "Iron Sharpening Iron" Friends.
To help both Veteran Men and Women Recover their One - True Identity in Christ Jesus.
Arm them with the tools and training that they need to walk with God and join His Battle,
and Train Changed men and women to be Strong, godly - Christ Followers.
To Guide the Veteran Men and Women with a heart after God's Own Heart, by Encouraging
One Another, serving those in need, and providing opportunities for Spiritual Outreach.
To Help and Encourage Men to be the Spiritual Leaders of their families, and communities, and to assemble a Band of Strong "Iron Sharpening Iron" Band of Brothers in Christ that will take up Arms against the enemy of deceit, and lies. To stand in the gap and defend those who weak!
